HO. LEE. CRAP. The game really opens up as we’re re-introduced to the xenomorph in one of the most tense, exciting, and gratifying parts of the game: the nest. We also get lots of android killing, reactor exploding, and – as a longtime Alien fan – a little scene near and dear to my heart: a cameo by Sigourney Weaver herself, as she gives Amanda a bit of closure.
This is easily my favorite part of the game, and my favorite episode in my stream series. I may even watch it over myself, the experience was so good. These two hours alone set this game above all other Alien games, hands down. The game may not be for everyone, and there may be a few glitches here and there, but as a fan, it hits a sweet spot I’ve been wanting for decades. Kudos to the devs, they nailed it.
